Love & Chocolate

What began as a loving gesture turned into our quaint, artisan chocolate shop.

Owner and chocolatier, Brooke Willis began her chocolate journey while living abroad in England. A non-chocolate lover at the time, Brooke found herself instantly hooked while learning about fine chocolate in a truffle workshop she attended to make truffles for her chocoholic husband's birthday present. She decided to use her remaining time abroad to travel all of Europe tasting, and learning about fine European chocolate and talking with the different chocolatiers in all the countries she visited. She enrolled in Ecole Chocolat as a guilty pleasure to learn more about chocolate and to pass the time while her husband was deployed, not thinking it would end up being her career one day.

Once settled back home in America, in her native state of Texas, Brooke began making bonbons and truffles as a fun hobby using the fine chocolates she had become acquainted with in Europe. It turns out, Texans loved it as much as she did.

B Cocoa began in Brooke's home kitchen in 2014 and is now a 3,000 square foot artisan chocolate shop in the heart of downtown Wichita Falls, TX. You can peek into the open window of the store kitchen and watch the chocolatiers making all of the delicious artisan chocolates by hand, in small batches daily. Brooke has combined her love for European chocolates with her down home Texas roots to create some of her most loved treats: Texas 'rita Bark, Texas Turtles, The Odd Duck Coffee Truffle make with locally roasted Odd Duck Coffee Mexico Beans.

Wondering how we got our name? The B is short for Brooke, and was a childhood nickname when she was growing up and the Cocoa was a fun way to combine her nickname with the description of what we're about... Artisan Chocolate.

When Brooke is not in the store, she is wife to her chocolate loving hubby Marc, a Southwest Airlines pilot and Mama/taxi driver to Tripp & Vida as well as resident snuggler of her: 3 cats, 2 dogs, 3 goats, 3 horses and a handful of free-loading chickens.

We still get giddy, everytime we see someone coming through the door to try our chocolates! From the bottom of our hearts, to the tips of our chocolate covered fingers, we hope you enjoy your B Cocoa experience.
